has been running exhibitions for over 10 years now – through thick and thin.
These events are looked forward to by guests, artists and all our gang here.
We are ignoring the recession for this evening, and with cares all abandoned,
are putting on a good show.
This Spring exhibition sets out to prove its title:
POSITIVITY WORKS
The artists have been asked to give of their very best, and to be lenient with their prices as you will see.
We have sculpture, In Bronze, In Marble, In Wood, In Kilkenny Limestone, In Granite, In Silver.
We have paintings; oil & acrylic on canvases, watercolour on paper, Batiks on cottons, Embroidery on silks.
Prints and artists’ proofs in pencil and chalk.
The art is Abstract, and Representational; Impressionistic and Realistic;
Landscape and Interior; Religious and Secular.
The Artists are of all ages, and from all corners of Ireland; most are Irish, some are newcomers.
They are ALL committed to their oeuvre, and dedicated to ART.
And they are also dedicated to being POSITIVE. No doubts. No misgivings. Life must go on!
And it will! It will even improve!
